“The Handsome Frog” – A Musical Adventure for Children, was specially commissioned by the L.A. Musical Salon from composer and clarinetist Jennifer Stevenson of the Vientos Trio.

The work was premiered by the Vientos Trio (with Maya Barrera on oboe for this concert) on August 6, 2013, at a children’s program at the Westwood Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library.

Children played musical games, learned about the instruments, and clapped and sang along as they become part of Dan the Handsome Frog’s musical adventure!
