Saturday Concerts take place upstairs in the alcove by the balcony while the library is open for regular business. Starting at 3 PM, concerts will last approximately 90 minutes.

Italian pianist FILIPPO LUGNAN, pursuing his Masters in Music at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, presents the Mozart Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major, K. 331, with its famous “Turkish March” last movement, and the beloved Schubert Wanderer Fantasy.

Pianist LUKASZ YODER, recently graduated from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music with a degree in piano performance, and his brother KASPER YODER, currently in the piano performance program at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, charm us with “Purely Chopin,” featuring some of the composer’s most enduring and beautiful solo piano works.

Canadian pianist BARRY TAN, on staff at the Colburn Conservatory, presents The Impressionists, with works by Debussy, Ravel and Lili Boulanger, along with the famous Mozart Variations, K. 455, based on Gluck’s opera comique La rencontre imprévue (The Unexpected Encounter).
