One of the key elements of the L.A. Musical Salon Series is the appointment of Artists in Residence to provide the continuity so helpful in developing a personal relationship between artists and audience.  Because we have only three concerts a year, our Artistic Residency is usually a multi-year appointment.

We were very fortunate to have the Blue Rose Trio as our first Artists in Residence for our 2008 and 2009 Seasons. Their virtuosity and vivacity launched our 2008 Inaugural Season with immense success, became a hallmark of our series, and set a high standard for future Artists in Residence.

We were thrilled to welcome back pianist Rose Chen as our Artist in Residence for 2010 and 2011.

Our Artists in Residence program was on hiatus during our 2012 Season.

 Beginning with our 2013 Season, we’re very excited to introduce our new Artists in Residence, pianists Steven Vanhauwaert and Danny Holt, who perform together as 4HandsLA. This dynamic duo wowed our audience when they appeared as guest artists for our April 28, 2012 concert. Their brilliant piano four-hands performance was enhanced by their engaging, fun, and educational interaction with the audience.
